{"id":4,"date":"2014-12-06T14:38:38","date_gmt":"2014-12-06T12:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.signsoflifemissions.co.za\/?page_id=4"},"modified":"2019-03-17T16:55:49","modified_gmt":"2019-03-17T14:55:49","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.signsoflifemissions.org.za\/?page_id=4","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #000080; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.signsoflifemissions.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/IMG_00000632_edit.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.signsoflifemissions.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/IMG_00000632_edit-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"CLRadebaugh\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Chris &amp; Lucinda Radebaugh<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Chris was born in Ohio and accepted Christ as Saviour at a young age. \u00a0His life was filled with church youth group, revivals, preaching, and multiple opportunities to learn the Word of God. \u00a0At 21 years of age, he had decided God wanted him to be a youth leader and had applied to study at Baptist University of America in Atlanta, Georgia. \u00a0In the spring of 1982, he met a Deaf choir from Temple Deaf College in Peoria, Illinois. \u00a0The team leader spoke to the church about using their hands to help the Deaf hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. \u00a0This so touched the heart of Chris that he applied and was accepted at the college.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lucinda was born in Kansas and grew up in Nebraska. \u00a0Lucinda accepted Christ as Saviour while attending Hammond Baptist High School in Hammond, Indiana. \u00a0She attended the Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then transferred to Temple Deaf College in Peoria, Illinois. \u00a0Lucinda has taken multiple classes in Christian counselling and provides trauma, crisis, and general counselling to Deaf ladies. \u00a0Her training has opened the door to many opportunities to help Deaf young women and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Chris and Lucinda met at Temple Deaf College in Peoria, Illinois in 1982. \u00a0They married in 1984 and began serving the Lord together at Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Marion, Ohio.
